ON THE COURT: In a triumph over Liberty, Peterson converted 17 of 18 kills, recording a .944 attack percentage, tying the NCAA’s second highest mark for a player with 15-19 attempts. “Without my teammates it would not have been possible,” a humble Peterson said about her accomplishment.
OFF THE COURT: “I like to watch movies,” Peterson said. “I love basketball, so I play basketball every so often. Sleeping is the number one thing right now.”
PLANS AFTER COLLEGE: “I want to go into a sports management program and become a sports trainer when I go back to my reservation.”
