Students taught to write with both hands

A school in India is teaching its students to multi-task by using both hands to write on different subjects simultaneously.

All 72 students of the Veena Vadini School use both their hands “with equal ease,” reports Asian News International.

“All the children here can write on different subjects and in different languages,” Principal Virangat Sharma said.

“Not just that, these children can use both their hands to write in two different languages on two different subjects at the same time.”

Flowers to be given to women speeders

Female drivers in Russia were given flowers instead of fines for minor traffic offenses on International Women’s Day.

“Traffic police will not darken the holiday for [drivers],” Deputy Interior Minister Alexander Chekalin said. “On this spring day, representatives of the fairer sex will not be punished for minor traffic violations.”

International Women’s Day has its roots within Russia as a day to celebrate the female worker during the Communist era.
