New building breaking ground this summer

With plans for a new School of Business building under way, the Monroe Park Campus Master Site Plan – intended for completion in 2020 – is coming together.
“We are getting to build a college campus from a bunch of surface parking lots and a bunch of abandoned buildings,” said Brian Ohlinger, associate vice president for facilities management. “So for VCU, this is the first time we have had the opportunity to do this before.”
