VCU track and field athletes Brandon Ruffin and Kiara Porter received the men’s and women’s Atlantic 10 performer of the week awards, respectively.
The VCU women’s basketball team continued building on its strong start to the season on Thursday, Nov. 21, winning for a third time in four games. The Lady Rams picked up a 67-57 victory against the University of Texas Pan-American Broncs at the UTPA Fieldhouse in Edinburg, Texas, improving their record to 3-1 on the year.
The men’s basketball team looked to bounce back a day after suffering such a shockingly lopsided loss to Florida State University. Their second opponent in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off would be Long Beach State University on Friday Nov. 22nd.
