UPDATE: Three arrested in off-campus robbery
Three people were arrested by the Richmond Police Department in connection with a robbery that occurred on Monday, March 24 on the 1000 block of West Franklin Street.

Three people were arrested by the Richmond Police Department in connection with a robbery that occurred on Monday, March 24 on the 1000 block of West Franklin Street.
The robbery took place at approximately 10:10 p.m. as the victim was walking eastbound. The suspects approached her from the opposite direction.
A male suspect pulled the victim to the ground and demanded she take off her backpack. The backpack was later recovered without any of its contents.
The male suspect was described as a 6-foot-1 African American male in the company of three African American females.
The VCU alerts webpage posted that the arrest was made on Friday, March 28.
