Key Players
Dominic Oduro
Leading the CAA in goals wasn’t enough for the junior from Ghana. Oduro has scored in both of the Rams’ NCAA tournament games.
Saul Montero
While his numbers (six shut outs and 49 saves) are down from last season, the team captain has a knack for making the right saves at the right time.
Gonzalo Segares
By spearheading the stingiest defense in the CAA, the senior defender put himself in the running for college soccer’s top honor, the Missouri Athletic Club’s Hermann Trophy

UCSB Gauchos
Record: 19-2-1
Rank: 1

Road to the Round of Eight:
W – 1-0 over Wisconsin-Milwaukee
W – 1-0 (OT) over UNC-Greensboro

Against UNC-Greensboro
The Gauchos hung on after Neil Jones, their second-leading goal-scorer, was ejected just six minutes into the game. Senior Matt Bly scored the game-winner to give UCSB a 1-0 win in overtime-the team’s school-record 14th shutout of the season.

Key Players
Drew McAthy
The 6-foot-2 senior led UCSB with 15 goals in the regular season, but has come up empty on his four shots in the NCAA tournament. It’s been about 340 minutes since his last goal.
Neil Jones
The senior will have to sit out Saturday’s game after being ejected Sunday. The Gauchos could miss his offense (10 goals and eight assists), but they did beat UNC-Greensboro without it.
Dan Kennedy
The 2003 Big West Goalkeeper of the Year added to his Gauchos legacy by saving 63 shots and shutting out 13 teams in his senior season.
