
Theatre VCU is bringing high class to the stage

Winners of the annual concerto competition will have the chance to lead the VCU Symphony during their Russian-influenced concert on March 6 at the W.E. Singleton Center.
“Hairspray” will grace the VCU Mainstage theatre starting Nov. 8. The Broadway-favorite has won best musical and eight Tony awards. The VCU production will run until Nov. 24.
Forty students and faculty members are set to participate in Ramapalooza, VCU’s first ever stand-up and sketch comedy competition.
This weekend marked the opening of VCU’s Mainstage production of “Grease,” and it was a spectacle to say the least.
