Student turnout drops 30 percent in SGA elections
Voter turnout for Fall 2013 Monroe Park Student Government Association elections fell by 30 percent compared to last semester’s elections. During the 2013 Spring SGA elections, 1,465 students cast their votes. This semester, voter turnout fell to 1,011.
Man beaten, robbed on campus
VCU police reported a robbery on the core campus area at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24. The victim was beaten then robbed in the 700 block of West Cary street.
Armed robbery in Carver prompts text alert
VCU police reported an armed robbery off campus early this morning on the 400 block of N. Hancock Street. A single victim was robbed by two males at approximately 3:09 a.m., according to police.

Representatives of the Minority Association of Pre- Health Students collected canned goods and nonperishable foods from Wednesday, Nov. 20 in the student commons to donate to FeedMore, a Central Virginia Food Bank program. Students collected canned food for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
