VCU police reported an armed robbery off campus today via the VCU alert webpage. The offense occurred at 111 W. Marshall St. at approximately 5:47 a.m.

VCU police reported an armed robbery off campus today via the VCU alert webpage. The offense occurred at 111 W. Marshall St. at approximately 5:47 a.m.
Two suspects allegedly robbed the victims in the south alley behind 111 W. Marshall Street. The suspects displayed their weapons and took money from two victims, then fled the scene.
Both suspects are described as black males wearing black hoodies, masks and jeans. One suspect used a silver handgun during the robbery, and the other used a knife, according to the VCU alert. The suspects are 5’ 8” to 5’ 11. No injuries were reported to police.
The Richmond Police Department is overseeing the investigation.
