VCU alert: alleged armed person on campus overnight
The VCU Police Department was alerted early this morning about an on-campus dispute that could have involved a weapon. Two people were involved in the incident near Franklin and Shafer streets. It was first reported to the Richmond Police Department.

The VCU Police Department today reported a sexual assault via VCU Alert to students and staff. The location of the assault is unknown, according to the alert.VCU PD spokesperson Michael Kelly said the assault could have happened today or sometime in the past.
