ON SCENE: Monroe Park renovation controversy
Here is what some of the protesters of Monroe Park’s proposed renovations and the
homeless said on scene during the two-day demonstration.

Really? A city park can’t close for renovations? Lots of misinformation surrounding this “controversy.”
VCU won’t own it, they are helping with funding to renovate. I can’t imagine that a university would want to help renovate a park that 3 of its dorms surround. In fact, what took them so long!
