Dreams to Vietnam: A Vision of Possibilities

The Vietnamese Student Association is hosting the 31st annual culture show, Dreams to Vietnam: A Vision of Possibilities on Saturday, March 6. The event will feature traditional and modern dances from varying provinces, comedic skits and a fashion show.

Miss Minerva Pageant

Sigma Alpha Epsilon will host the 3rd annual Miss Minerva Pageant, which will benefit VCU’s Haiti Relief Fund. Twenty women associated with Greek-letter organizations are competing for the title of Miss Minerva. The event will be held Friday, March 5 at 7 p.m. in the Commonwealth Ballrooms. Tickets are $3 with 100 percent of the proceeds going toward the Haiti Relief charity.

Kayak Roll Clinic

The Outing Rental Center is hosting the Kayak Roll Clinic on March 2 at the Cary Street Pool. American Canoe Association certified instructors will teach the clinic. No experience – just a bathing suit – is necessary. Participants must sign up in advance at the Outing Rental Center. The cost is $10 for students, $12 for faculty and staff.
