We’ve all seen it: Driving through a rundown neighborhood, we’ve spotted a dilapidated house with a brand-new Mercedes-Benz parked in the driveway. This sight can only lead to one of two conclusions: Either the residents of the house have well-off friends visiting or they have their spending priorities confused.
