Lou Szari, assistant director in the theatre department, proposed an alternative, which would keep the current add/drop fee and add a “late-fee drop only” period where students would be charged a fee for classes dropped after the seven day period.
Additionally, the Faculty Senate voted in favor of altering the current grading scale by incorporating pluses and minuses in letter grades. This would affect students with borderline grades, altering their GPA.
