For one dummy in the Fan neighborhood, Friday, Feb. 6 will be a day not soon forgotten.

According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, police received a call Friday morning from a concerned resident who said there was a red car that had been parked near the intersection of Lombardy Street and Grove Avenue for several days containing a person who was not moving.

The first officer to arrive immediately let dispatchers know to call off all other responding units.

The brightly colored, wig-clad safety dummy seated in the red Volkswagon was not in need of assistance.
