Who opened the moron flood gates?

While I personally don’t care about anyone’s political standing (it’s a choice, like religion, and not something someone should be banished to Hell for), there were a couple of comments made that are not the basis of a political party but simply the ramblings of someone who is either too ignorant or too heartless to consider the full implications of those statements before they spew out of his mouth.

First is the comment about affirmative action. Only a white male could come up with a statement as ignorant as affirmative action being reverse racism. I suppose that you have had to deal with being locked out of a job because of the color of your skin, your gender or your sexual orientation. Yeah, I kind of figured that wasn’t the case. If you haven’t been in that position, you have no basis to carry that argument with the least bit of conviction.

The comment about only “crazy crackers” being accused of hate crimes is because in 99 percent of cases the “crazy crackers” are the ones committing them. How many black serial killers do you see? Exactly! I suppose now we should take serial-killing away as a crime as well as child molestation ,considering that mostly white males commit those crimes as well? I can only assume the person making this comment is not only racist but homophobic as well. Do you have a deep dark secret to hide where you’re afraid you could be accused of a hate crime? What other possible reason could you have for not wanting hate crimes to be an important issue in the criminal justice system?

Finally, what kind of moron would want to strip someone’s right to vote because of their receiving welfare? So if a young mother suddenly gets cancer, then she should lose her right to vote if she applies for “Temporary Assistance for Needy Families” for her children? If a father dies, his wife should lose the right to vote if she applies for food stamps for her children? Why exactly do we pay taxes then? I suppose so that we can continue to dump money into a pretend war in a country where people blow up our guys with simple pipe bombs, rather than concentrating on real threats like Iran and North Korea. This is the main problem with this country and the many like it. It is run by too many testosterone-driven men who have a lot of guts but no brains. Notice how the countries run by women aren’t in constant peril of terrorist activity. This is probably due to the fact that those leaders think above their necks.

These comments that were made in last week’s edition have nothing to do with which side of the political fence one stands on but are merely the rantings of someone who is so insecure about their heterosexual white male standing that they can’t see far enough to make an intelligent, informed decision about anything. Seems to be an overwhelming excess of that lately. Then again, what else is new?
