The 14th-ranked pair of Olga Borisova (Minsk, Belarus) and Marianna Yuferova (St. Petersburg, Russia) improved their record to 19-2, while prevailing in the singles portion of the match. Tatsiana Uvarova (Minsk, Belarus) also claimed singles and doubles victories.
Borisova and Yuferova were named Colonial Athletic Association Doubles Team of the Week.
The Rams, who played at conference-rival William and Mary on Wednesday.
Men’s team moves into top 10
VCU moved up four spots to No. 9 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s rankings.
This is the first time in two years the Rams (20-4), who are riding a 10-match win streak, have cracked the top 10.
The Rams hit the road Wednesday for a match against in-state rival Virginia Tech.
