Rams battle Colonials in weekend series

Tim St. Clair (Woodbridge/Gar-Field High School) drove in two runs in the fifth, and Scott Sizemore (Chesapeake/ Hickory High School) added another RBI.

The Colonials evened the series on Saturday with a 7-3 triumph to end a six-game losing streak.
After falling behind 1-0, the Rams took a 3-1 lead scoring one run in the fifth and two in the sixth, including a Sizemore solo homer.
The Colonials rallied with four runs in the seventh to take a 5-3 lead, then added two insurance runs in the eighth.
The rubber game of the series was played Sunday. The Colonials again defeated the Rams 4-2.
