Steve Hagar, editor of High Times magazine, and Robert Stutman, a former Drug Enforcement Administration agent, duke it out in a Heads vs. Feds debate at 7 p.m. in the Stuart C. Siegel Center. Wednesday, Oct. 13

John Fenn, Virginia Commonwealth University’s 2002 Nobel laureate in chemistry, will speak with Dudley Herschbach, a 1986 Nobel laureate from Harvard University, about the impact of politics on science and technology. The Laureate Symposium, sponsored by the Student Government Association, is at 6 p.m. in the Richmond Salons of the University Student Commons. It is free. 691-7474
