Richmond may not always be the greenest city, but the activists living here are attempting to change that. To celebrate Earth Day, organizations on VCU’s campus and throughout the city are holding events to promote sustainability throughout the coming week.

Accessibility for people with disabilities is something that rarely crosses people’s mind if they aren’t affected by the issue. However, VCU wants to change that and bring the issue to the forefront of discussions.
Originally a debate for Monroe Park SGA president and vice president on was to be held Monday night. But the candidates are running unopposed, so the event turned into a chance for student to ask questions of their future representatives.
Braving the cool weather, crowds of students and alumni sported various hues of black and gold as they arrived for various game day events on Saturday.
