The VCU men’s basketball team has reached its second consecutive Atlantic 10 title game and will play Saint Joseph’s University on Sunday for a chance to claim its first conference championship after moving over from the Colonial Athletic Association two years ago.
After losing its third leading scorer early in the first half, the VCU men’s basketball team beat George Washington University 74-55 on Saturday to advance to the Atlantic 10 tournament championship.
With a 3-0 win over George Mason University on Oct. 18, the VCU volleyball team claimed its eighth victory in nine matches, improving its record to 18-5 on the year.
