The Forensic Science Student Club at VCU will have their fifth annual participatory murder mystery dinner on April 12 at 5:30 p.m. in the Commonwealth Ballrooms.
Fan robbery second of weekend

VCU alerted students via text message to an armed robbery off campus on Sunday night, the second such incident that occurred near campus over the weekend.

VCU will close today at 4 p.m. due to expected inclement weather tonight. The university alerted students around noon via text message and email that the university will remain closed Feb. 13, as well.
VCU poll: Mental health funding prevents gun violence
Findings from the annual Commonwealth Poll conducted by the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs show nearly 80 percent of Virginians think better mental health treatment and services would help prevent gun violence. More than 50 percent said there is not enough funding for these services.
Armed robbery in Carver prompts text alert
VCU police reported an armed robbery off campus early this morning on the 400 block of N. Hancock Street. A single victim was robbed by two males at approximately 3:09 a.m., according to police.
