For months, a red “NOW HIRING” banner has created much anticipation over the opening of a Panda Express on the corner of Grace and Shafer streets, although its completion is lagging behind schedule.
Whether students are complaining about the food or visiting the cafeteria every day to socialize, this September marks the tenth year Shafer has been the center of the VCU campus.
Students waited in long lines to get into this semester’s Midnight Breakfast buffet in Shafer Dining Hall on Monday night. The Student Government Association sponsored the event, which celebrates the end of the semester with unlimited free pancakes, eggs, bacon, smoothies and more.
