An altercation over pizza turned violent Sunday night when a stabbing occurred just off campus at a Domino’s Pizza.
According to an alert sent out by VCU, the victim asked the suspect for a slice of pizza as the suspect was exiting the restaurant on the 200 block of N. Belvidere St. An argument led to the suspect pulling out a knife and cutting the arm of the victim.
The suspect was a black male with short dreadlocks and was pushing a yellow bike at the time of the encounter. He was accompanied by a woman. The two were last seen heading east on Broad Street.
The crime took place just outside of the VCU PD jurisdiction and the investigation is being handled by Richmond PD.
As of Monday, Richmond PD has not provided any updates.
