Crime log for Aug. 24 – 30
Aug. 24
– Hit and run at 312 N. Shafer St. between 10 and 11 a.m.
– A visitor was arrested for possession of marijuna on the 900 block of W. Broad St at 11:23 p.m.
– A student damaged a dorm room at VCU’s Broad and Belvidere dorms around 12:15 p.m.
Aug. 25
– A male was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on the 600 block of W. Main Street around 11:40 p.m.
Aug. 26
– A female was arrested for underage possesion of alcohol at N. Belvidere and W. Marshall streets.
– A male visitor was arrested for defrauding an innkeeper at The Village Cafe around 1:24 a.m.
– A state-owned vehicle was reported to be damaged at the VCU Police headquarters on W. Grace Street between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Aug 27
– Four students were arrested for underage consumption of alcohol at Brandt Hall around 1 a.m.
Aug. 28
– A male student reported assault and an attempted robbery on the 300 block of Hancock Street between 12:25 and 2:02 a.m.
– A female student reported that a known person stalked her. It was reported between the hours 9:30 and 9:58 p.m. on W. Marshall Street.
– A male was arrested for being drunk in public and attempt to disarm a law enforcement officer at the intersection of N. Laurel Street and W. Broad Street at 11:49 p.m.
