“Ask for Comfort,” the line of hospital wear for pediatric cancer patients, made its debut Thursday during a fashion show at the Children’s Museum of Richmond. The event marks Kourageous Kids Week, honoring young cancer survivors.
It’s also the culmination of a yearlong partnership between VCU’s fashion department and the Association for the Support of Children with Cancer, a nonprofit organization also known as ASK. Its mission is to make life easier for Virginia’s children who have cancer.
