VCU presidential search committee announced
A 17-member presidential search committee that will assist the board in selecting VCU’s next president has been announced. The university-wide committee consists of six members of the Board of Visitors, five faculty members, two staff members, two students, one alumnus and one VCU Foundation member.

University President Eugene P. Trani is retiring from the positions of university president and president and chair of the VCU Health System effective June 30, 2009. He will remain at VCU as a distinguished professor.
