The former men’s tennis coach at the University of Richmond has been indicted on one count of receiving child pornography.

Federal prosecutors said a grand jury indicted 47-year-old Steven Gerstenfeld on Tuesday. He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

Prosecutors say Gerstenfeld used PayPal to gain access to several child pornography Web sites on his university computer between October 2006 and March 2007.

Gerstenfeld’s attorney, Debra Corcoran, said in a telephone interview that her client is innocent.
