the first round of the WNIT.

one point shy of her career high for
the Rams, who advanced to play at
Michigan on Monday.
Kita Waller (Gainesville, Ga./
Gainesville) added 14 points and
LaKea Jones (Fort Washington,
Md./National Christian Academy) had
11 points and seven assists for VCU,
which shot 51 percent and hit 18 of
21 free throws.
Shannon McCallum scored 18
points and Danielle Burgin scored
15 for the 49ers, who committed 21
turnovers.
Charlotte cut a 22-point deficit to
10 midway through the second half,
but could get no closer.
