Jackson remembered by family, friends

Funeral services for Angel Janel Jackson, a VCU art student, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at the Chief Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1056 Rock Castle Road in Goochland.

Jackson, a 26-year-old fashion design and merchandising major, and her father, Herbert Levi Sharpe Jr., 51, were stabbed to death Saturday, March 25, at their home on Point Hollow Drive in Henrico County.

Jackson’s stepmother, Blondene Sharpe, 49, and her stepbrother, Bryant Sharpe, 19, also were injured in the stabbing attacks inside their home. At noon Wednesday, VCU Medical Center reported that the two were in stable condition.
