Various Artists – ‘Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland Soundtrack’

Tony Hawk, Activision, and friends have gotten together a bunch of bands for the newest installment of the Tony Hawk video game saga, “Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland.” The soundtracks of all of the games in the past always have been one part of the game that fans have looked forward to. This time, they took it one step further. All of the bands on the disc are doing covers of classic punk songs. Bands like Senses Fail, Saves the Day, and Thursday can be found doing covers of Suicidal Tendencies, Dead Boys, and Buzzcocks, respectively. Most of the covers are very well done, and this disc is great for the old-school or new-school fan.
