The two elusive and mysterious vocalists, Client A and Client B, will seduce listeners with dark songs co-produced by Sneaker Pimps’ Joe Wilson.
“Their first album was about pills, sex and prostitution. The new album is darker, bleaker and more lush,” he said in a Client press release.
The two females decorate their album cover in waitress uniforms following the style of voyeurism, fetishism and illicit sexual encounters that are mirrored in their work.
With a darkness rivaling Bauhaus and guest vocals by the Libertine’s Carl Barat and Pete Doherty as well as Depeche Mode’s Martin Gore, this is a sure hit.
The first single off the new CD, “In it for the Money,” drips with sexuality and danceable beats. The two have lyrics to match such as: I’m glamour ritz and glitz/shaking those hips/I’m milking the honey, I’m in it for the money.”
The opening track, “Radio,” explores depression and is reminiscent of Joy Division’s 21-year-old hit “Transmission.”
The album is new wave electro-clash spun and sung by two of the hottest and elusive female vocalists out there right now. The two want to be known for their music, but with such steamy songs and facades to match, it’s a wonder the two aren’t all over the cover of every magazine right now.
