Nearly 500 student groups, local organizations and clubs participated in this fall’s Student Organization and Volunteer Opportunities Fair. The annual event that helps wrap up Welcome Week brought 280 student organizations, 32 nonprofit groups, 17 VCU departments and seven community vendors to the Siegel center Friday afternoon.
Whether you’re a freshman looking for something to do in the few days before classes start, or an experienced senior looking to reminisce and get some free food, there are events practically every hour of the waking day during Welcome Week.
