B.A.S.E. 5th Annual Art Showcase

The Black Art Student Empowerment organization is hosting its fifth annual art showcase. Several artists will showcase their art, including painting, dance, poetry and drawings. Scientist-Artist Exchange at Gallery 5

Three VCU scientists will give 10-minute talks at Gallery 5 describing a scientific problem. Surrounding artists will create a sketch about each problem and then exchange their pieces of art after the intermission and explain what they imagined during the process. All work will be shown the following Wednesday for one night at the gallery.

The Student Government Association is organizing Qatar Day, an event to connect Richmond and Qatar VCU students. Members of the VCU community can learn more through displays of traditional Qatari clothing, Arabic calligraphy and henna demonstrations.
