Va. legislators ease cuts to VCU, education budgets

Earlier this month governor McAuliffe announced budget reductions that will directly affect Virginia higher education. At the VCU Board of Visitors meeting last week President Rao said the losses won’t be as significant as originally expected.

Selling an item in good condition will not only leave more closet space, but also cheer up the starving piggy bank. Curious to see which store would offer the most money for my clothes, I grabbed some barely worn shoes and set out on a shopping experiment.

Dyke and Adam dominate as team places top-two at three invitationals

Under director of cross country Nicole Cook, the men’s and women’s cross country teams have captured top-two finishes in all three meets this season. The Rams finished second overall in the Longwood/Adidas Cross Country Invitational on Sept. 19 and finished second in the William and Mary Cross Country Invitational on Sept. 12. In the opening meet of the season, the Rams placed first overall in the Virginia State Invitational on Sept. 5.
