Sexual assault reported off campus
VCU students received today a university alert email that a victim reported a sexual assault off campus.

VCU students received today a university alert email that a victim reported a sexual assault off campus.
The victim alleged that the assault happened at approximately 2 a.m. in the 400 block of W. Grace Street. The suspect is known to be an acquaintance of the victim.
The victim reported the assault to police at 10 a.m., according to the VCU alert.
VCU students received the email alert at 3:46 p.m. VCU Police are investigating the crime.
The assault was reported to students in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act.
Clery statements are used to notify students of threatening conditions that may continue to exist on or near campus.
