VCU senior Bradford Burgess on potentially his last game facing ODU:

“It’s crazy thinking about it, I’ve had pretty good success against them. I’ve had pretty good games against them. It’s a special place to play in, their atmosphere is similar to ours and it’s going to be a great game Saturday.”

Burgess on communication with ODU players:

“Not before these games, I talk to them over the course of the season, but not before we play them.”

Burgess on his relationship with ODU senior Kent Bazemore and talking about the NBA:

“We’ve talked about it a little bit, especially over the summer we both had injuries. We talk about everything, we’re just two guys about the same thing. We’ve just had the opportunity to talk about everything.”

VCU junior point guard Darius Theus on playing ODU:

“It’s very special for me just being from there and knowing a lot of guys there, just to go back home and play in front of the crowd it’s very special just to be a part of the game.”

Theus on being recruited by ODU:

“I got a little bit of attention from ODU but you can’t really control that and I came to where it was best from me at VCU.”
