‘He did it’: Audience storms Siegel Center for Homecoming concert

"Grown-a** man" visits VCU

Rapper Kendrick Lamar was the first to perform at VCU’s homecoming 2012. The audience sang and rapped along during his performance of “Hol’ Up.”
Despite several attempts to get the crowd going, Outasight’s performance was less than thrilling.
A thunderous roar could be heard throughout the Siegel Center when, after about an hour, Big Sean finally came on stage.
VCU engineering student Julia Polich said, “Big Sean’s performance made the wait worth it.” The artist, along with his usual performance, gave a short speech on following your dreams.
Girls and guys alike went insane when Big Sean took off his shirt near the end of the concert.
