Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin plan one more stab at keeping Virginia voting Republican for the 11th presidential race in a row.
With Democrat Barack Obama holding a slight lead in the latest Virginia polling, McCain is planning two stops on Saturday.
The first will be a late morning event at Interstate Van Lines in Springfield. That’s a perennial stopping point for Republican candidates the final weekend of each campaign.
The second is in Hampton Roads on Saturday afternoon. The time and place haven’t been set.
Palin has a Saturday night rally in Richmond. The venue and time for that are also undetermined.
