North Korea announced nuclear disablement

North Korea says it will resume dismantling its Yongbyon nuclear complex and allow U.S. and International Atomic Enery Agency inspections to verify the process.

North Korea’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement Sunday it made the decision after the U.S. said it would remove the communist regime from its list of terrorism-sponsoring countries.

The statement was carried by the North’s official Korean Central News Agency.
