A March 4 request by The Commonwealth Times to
SGA Elections Chair Angela Bitter requesting information
about registered candidates went unanswered.

Twenty-five of the 50 SGA Senate seats are up
for election this week. It has been rumored only 14
students completed the process to become a candidate.
This leaves 11 seats open that theoretically could be
secured by a single write-in vote.

Voting will take place March 25 through March
27.

According to some SGA candidates, a single person
will be able to cast 20 senate votes.

The CT was unable to confirm any of these
details.

The SGA has a separate online-message board
dedicated to elections, but no information has been
posted since Nov. 2, 2007.
