Detroit Tigers – Announced the resignation of Don Slaught, hitting coach. Agreed to terms with Andy Van Slyke, 1B-OF coach and hitting coach, on a one-year contract.
Tampa Bay Devil Rays – Declined the 2007 contract option for RHP Brian Meadows.
Texas Rangers – Agreed to terms with RHP Alfredo Simon on a minor league contract.

Cincinnati Reds – Named Brook Jacoby hitting coach. Named Doug Bair pitching coach and Darren Bragg hitting coach for Dayton of the Midwest League.
