A Utah man called the police when a burglar stole marijuana from his home.
The 18-year-old then went to the station to identify the drugs after police claimed to have captured a suspect.
The man was then arrested and charged with possession of drugs with intent to distribute.

“He actually came and identified it as his,” Orem Police Lt. Doug Edwards said. “Even the dumb criminals are generally smarter than this.”
It began when police received a call from an Olem man complaining his home had been broken into and a quarter-pound of marijuana stolen.
The burglar had broken a window and apparently cut himself while crawling into the home.
The Orem man told police that a 23-year-old Provo man had called him about buying the marijuana but the deal hadn’t gone through.
Officers tracked the Provo man to his mother’s home where they found six ounces of marijuana and a pair of blood-soaked pants.
The man was arrested and charged.
Man marries four wives in six months
A Saudi man is in the hospital for psychological treatment after his divorced parents forced him to marry four times in six months.
The battle began when the father insisted the man marry a woman from his side of the family.
The mother then ordered him to wed a woman from her side.
After learning this, the father was unhappy with the balance of power and insisted on a third wife from his side.
The mother then demanded that her son include another wife from her side of the family.
The son is now refusing to see his parents or his wives.
Cat takes in bird-as a friend
A cat has taken in a bird which hurt itself when it fell out of its nest and is unable to fly.
The cat, named Chiquita, has reportedly raised the bird as if it was its mother in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
They eat from the same plate and the cat even uses the bird to catch other birds to eat.
Chiquita’s owner, Nair de Souza, has named the bird Pitico.
“Pitico has even started to eat meat,” Souza said, “because the two of them only eat together.”
Man told ‘You’re pregnant’
A grandfather recently received a letter from his local hospital saying “You’re pregnant.”
Brian Spencer from Nottingham, England was told to report to the maternity unit to prepare for the delivery of his baby.
A spokesman for Nottingham City Hospital admitted the mistake, saying: “This occurred when we were training a new member of staff.”
