Why do you want to be homecoming king? I want to be homecoming king because I believe that I am a true representative of VCU pride. Even though this is only my third year at VCU, I managed to take enough classes to graduate in May while still being actively involved in my fraternity, campus activities and activities with my residence hall. For example, I hosted VCU’s first residence hall step-off Tuesday, Feb. 7.
What would you most like to accomplish as king? Just to show that anything is possible.

Why do you want to be homecoming queen? I am running for homecoming queen because I take great pride in attending this university. I believe the queen should be a representation of that. I mix with all crowds. I enjoy meeting new people. I also enjoy playing rugby — a true representative of diversity and of a genuine person.
What would you most like to accomplish as queen? I would love to use this as a tool not only for students but also people (young) in the Richmond community to see that it doesn’t matter what you look like or what organization you are in (or) how much money you have – as long as you believe in yourself and have pride your goals are limitless.
