Volleyball at Liberty, 7 p.m.
The Rams nearly pulled off their second straight CAA win of the season last Friday against JMU behind Griselle Lopez Pereira’s 53rd game with double-digit digs. They eventually fell 3-2 in front of their largest crowd of the season (239).

Tuesday, Oct. 26

Volleyball at Liberty, 7 p.m.
The Rams nearly pulled off their second straight CAA win of the season last Friday against JMU behind Griselle Lopez Pereira’s 53rd game with double-digit digs. They eventually fell 3-2 in front of their largest crowd of the season (239). A nonconference game against the Flames could serve as a break before returning to conference play against Towson on Friday.

Thursday Oct. 28

Women’s soccer vs. Old Dominion, 7 p.m.
VCU has lost three of its past four, including a 3-2 loss to George Mason on Sunday. The Rams gave up three goals altogether in a 10-game stretch from Sept. 5 to Oct. 9 when they went 9-1. The Rams could knock off conference-leading ODU from with a win Thursday and another win in Saturday’s Senior game against William & Mary.

Friday, Oct. 29

Men’s soccer at Delaware, 7 p.m.
Tim O’Sullivan’s squad goes into the weekend with a chance to knock a few teams out of the running for the CAA regular season title and more importantly win home games in the final two rounds of the CAA tournament. They’ll need a little help though. The Rams need to beat Delaware then top Towson on Sunday. They also need Old Dominion and James Madison to lose their weekend games.

Saturday Oct. 30

Field hockey vs. James Madison, 1 p.m.
The Rams, who won four of their seven conference games last season, have won just one CAA game this year (a 2-1 win in OT over Towson on Oct. 1) after starting the season 6-1. A pair of home games this weekend put a cap on a seven-game losing streak. They finish the season with a nonconference game with Appalachian State (4-10-0, 1-4-0 Southern Conference).
