A Very Special Thanks
The 11 special correspondents for the first two issues of The Commonwealth Times are a special group of high school seniors who were on campus in late July to participate in a special journalism workshop in the School of Mass Communications. The seniors, specially selected by a team of professional journalists, spent a week in the statewide High School Editors’ Workshop sponsored by the Virginia Press Association, the Virginia High School League and VCU.
