‘American Idol’
The talented was upped drastically from last week when the performances were just good. The performances this week were outstanding. Ruben was the highlight of the show with his smooth and perfectly toned voice. Kim is a shoe-in for the top
10 as well. Her power and range blew everyone away, including the judges. The biggest surprise of the night was Clay, the big-eared, super skinny, slightly dorky 24-year-old, shocked the audience with his deep and resounding voice. Clay has my vote! What can I say? I’m a sucker for ears.

‘Joe Millionaire’
This week “Joe Millionaire” angered its every viewer. Unless, of course, you visit the “Joe Millionaire” Web site frequently, then you would have assumed that since it was down to two girls that last Monday
would have been the season finale. Fans across the country watched and waited for Evan to announce his choice and to see him get shot down once he confessed his lie. What did all of the loyal viewers get? Did we get drama, tears and heartbreak? No! We got a flashback show. Yes, that’s right; we got to see all the things we’ve already seen. So, if you missed last Monday then I can guarantee you didn’t miss anything. I can also guarantee next Monday will definitely be the finale. Look out for two hours of Joe, including a cast reunion where the girls get to tell Evan just what they think of him.

300th Episode of ‘The Simpsons’
Don’t worry, you haven’t missed it yet. I’m just reminding everyone to tune in this Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. It’s going to be a fabulous 90-minutes of classic Homerisms and laugh-your-butt-off moments. It can’t be missed. After all, it’s the ’90’s love-child of television! Oh, and afterwards, stay tuned for the “Married… with Children” reunion show.

‘NYPD Blue’
Shannon tells authorities that Laughlin planted drugs on Detective Clark, so Clark gets out of jail. Meanwhile Ortiz and McDowell along with Medavoy and Jones are dealing with the murder of a woman, Kim, who began a group to get women out of gangs. They get a fake tip from a woman who Kim was trying to help, but it turns out that the woman’s boyfriend broke into Kim’s apartment and killed her. Another aspect of the case is that a white man, who was unhappy with the noise level of Kim’s meetings, gave him the key to Kim’s apartment. The case that Sipowicz and Clark are dealing with is the murder of a homosexual man, Neil, who has been getting Latino men sent to him straight out of jail from a prisoner, Edallo. Edallo sent Neil, a man whoowed him a favor out to take care of Edallo, and once he caught Edallo, Sipowicz had him transferred to “the Ice Box.” Not exactly a step up.
