Volleyball advances to A-10 championship
VCU defeated Atlantic 10 tournament host and No. 3 seed George Washington University 3-0 in the semifinals round on Saturday to earn a spot in the A-10 championship match. This will be VCU’s fifth trip to a conference championship match in nine seasons.
Volleyball falters in season finale, falls to second place in A-10
With consecutive losses in its final two matches of the regular season, the VCU volleyball team dropped to 11-3 in the Atlantic 10, losing sole possession of first place in the conference. The Lady Rams fell to Saint Louis University 3-0 Saturday, Nov. 9 before suffering their first home loss of the season to Duquesne University 3-1 on Friday, Nov. 15.
Men’s soccer falls in A-10 semis
The VCU men’s soccer team suffered a devastating loss to George Mason University, falling 3-2 in the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 tournament on Friday, Nov. 15.
