For this week’s pick, we’re heading to the NHL to cover a face off between the Boston Bruins and Seattle Krakens at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington, on Feb. 23.

The Bruins are sitting comfortably at number one in both their Atlantic division and the Eastern Conference, with a record of 43 wins and eight losses, leading the NHL and topping the power rankings, according to Fox Sports.

The Kraken’s, on the other hand, are number two in their pacific division, however, they are number five in the western conference, with a record of 32 wins and 19 losses, according to the NHL.

David Pastrňák, who is a right wing for the Bruins, is a key player for the team considering the fact that he leads the team in points, goals and assists. As of now, he has 75 points, 39 goals and 36 assists, according to ESPN.

Although the Bruins have Pastrňák, along with other players that put up good numbers, the Kraken’s defeated them on the road when they played each other earlier this year, in January. This time around, Seattle has home advantage, which can arguably give them a better chance at winning.

With the history between the two teams, the Krakens will put up a fight, but the Bruins will come back with a vengeance to win and continue the journey of claiming their spot as No. 1 in the league.
