For this week’s pick, we’re going to the NFL as the Washington Commanders square off against the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas on Nov. 20.

The Commanders and The Texans started their 2023 season campaign with a losing record. Both teams took losses in their most recent appearances, with the Commanders losing to the Minnesota Vikings, and the Texans to the Philadelphia Eagles, according to the NFL.

Through the challenges of this season, Washington remains hopeful as they will receive key reinforcement to their offense coming next week, ESPN states.

Washington Commanders wide receiver Jahan Dotson makes his return to Monday Night Football this week and the commanders are seeking to make him an immediate impact, according to NBC Sports. Despite missing the past five games due to a hamstring injury, Dotson still leads the Commanders in touchdown receptions.

“He’s gotten better and better. When he finished, he reported no soreness, and then this morning he reported no issues. We feel pretty comfortable moving forward. We don’t expect him to have a setback,” Washington coach Ron Rivera said in an interview.

Though on the road, Washington will take the win this week. The Texans seem unable to put it together this season to climb out of a losing record.
